The owners of the FireLight are Debi Zecchin and Eric Eikenberry. Debi moved to Williams from Houston after being “robbed” by “train robber” Eric (A.K.A. Tombstone Red) on the Grand Canyon Railway back in 2004. She opened her Real Estate Brokerage shortly thereafter and purchased the FireLight in 2005; although it was a private home when she bought it. Originally from New Jersey, Debi has a background in interior design—a skill she put to good use in the FireLight.
Eric is a native Arizonan and long time resident of Williams who became a general contractor and started As You Wish Remodeling, Inc. after a career in college administration. Before entering college work, Eric ran the Tourist Information Center in Williams for years. He knows Arizona extremely well and will help you make the most of your time in the Southwest.
Debi and Eric worked together to make the FireLight what it is today. Eric made the structural improvements and Debi did all the decorating. Eric now entertains passengers as a musician on the Grand Canyon Railway a couple days a week; but with everything else that’s going on, Eric had to end his 14-year career as a train robber. He will, however, gladly pistol whip any guest upon request.
